The book serves as a guide for young broadcasters aiming for a job as a major league baseball broadcaster. The book is designed to assist young announcers in learning how to prepare for a broadcast, improving interpersonal skills, learning how to self-evaluate your work gaining confidence in your skills and ability to work in the baseball broadcasting industry.

In 2014, Impemba authored If These Walls Could Talk: Detroit Tigers. The book chronicles Impemba’s broadcasting career through the minor leagues and the major leagues featuring an inside look at his time as the television broadcaster for the Detroit Tigers. The book is available at Amazon
